Team of the Season (TOTS) is officially launching this week in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, and leading the charge is the Ligue 1 TOTS squad.
Following weeks of hype and the recent Warmup Series, EA Sports is set to drop one of the most exciting promos of the year. For the first time, the Ligue 1 TOTS squad will be the opening act for TOTS 2025, joined by the Arkema Premier League and Eredivisie TOTS squads. This means Ultimate Team is about to be absolutely flooded with top-tier talent.

EA has confirmed the Ligue 1 TOTS will arrive on Friday, April 25, going live in packs at:
10am PDT
1pm EDT
6pm BST
All three squads—Ligue 1, Arkema PL, and Eredivisie—will be available simultaneously, meaning players can expect at least 42 TOTS cards to be in packs at launch.
FUT Champions rewards will also be updated to include these squads, but will rotate again on Friday, May 2, when the Premier League TOTS takes over.
While no player cards have been officially leaked yet, trusted source @AsyFutTrader has revealed that some TOTS items will include four PlayStyle Plus upgrades—a major leap in power. These enhanced cards will likely be reserved for the elite names in each squad, making them incredibly desirable.
If EA follows the same format as last year, expect around 20 players in the main Ligue 1 squad—15 TOTS players and 5 TOTS Moments items. Here’s a prediction of who might make the cut:
