EA Sports has just dropped a quality-of-life update to the Ultimate Team Store in EA FC 25, and it's landed at the perfect time — just before the highly anticipated Team of the Season (TOTS) promo.
Since the start of 2025, EA has been stepping up its game, steadily improving EA FC 25 through regular updates. While the game initially received lukewarm reviews at launch, recent updates — especially those affecting Ultimate Team — have been much more in tune with what the community wants. From new players to major gameplay improvements, EA has made an effort to win players back.
And now, they've nailed the little details too.
With popular promos like Dreamchasers Team 1, Dreamchasers Team 2, and the upcoming Immortals event flooding Ultimate Team with new content, players have been stockpiling packs. But previously, sorting through hundreds of saved packs in the My Packs section of the FUT Store was a mess — only a limited number of packs were visible at once, making it almost impossible to locate specific ones.
Now, EA has introduced a feature that groups identical packs together in the My Packs section. So if you’ve saved up dozens of 83+ x10 packs, they’ll now all appear in a single stack instead of being scattered throughout the list. This makes it so much easier to organize your pack opening sessions, especially with TOTS right around the corner.
EA confirmed the change, stating:
"Starting today, all Packs of the same type within the My Packs section of the Ultimate Team Store will be grouped together."
The update is already live in-game, and early feedback from players has been overwhelmingly positive. Screenshots replying to EA’s post show off the clean new layout, and it’s clear this update is already making a big difference for pack savers.
It might seem like a small change, but it's exactly the kind of thoughtful update that makes the player experience smoother. With TOTS on the horizon and more promos sure to come, here's hoping EA keeps the momentum going with even more quality-of-life tweaks like this one.
