A second batch of football’s most promising talent will be heading to Ultimate Team in EA FC 25 later this week. Like the first squad, they will be joined by yesteryear legends in their early days through Future Star Icons.
Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until Team 2 is live to see all who have earned their spot — and which talent from our favorite club has been snubbed. But if you’re as impatient as we are, we’ve rounded up all the leaks on who will appear. We have also listed some young players we predict will be a part of Team 2, as well.
Team 2 for EA FC 25 Future Stars is expected to go live on February 7, 2025, at 10 AM PT (1 PM ET, 6 PM GMT). That’s the usual hour when all new promos are released or refreshed, so expect upcoming promos to pop up at the same time.
All Leaked Future Star Team 2 Players In EA FC 25
We were about to don our thinking hats and flex some of our ball knowledge to predict Team 2 for EA FC 25 Future Stars, but leakers stole the show and already leaked more than half of the team.
Some headliners this time are Manchester United’s Amad Diallo, another La Masia fellow in Pau Cubarsí, and two Frenchmen in Mathys Tel and Bradley Barcola. Here are all the players including Icons that have leaked so far for Team 2 of the Future Stars promo.
Leaked Future Stars Team 2
Mathys Tel (ST – Tottenham Hotspur)
Bradley Barcola (LW – PSG)
Amad Diallo (RW – Manchester United)
Pau Cubarsí (CB – FC Barcelona)
Aleksandar Pavlović (CDM – Bayern Munich)
João Neves (CM – PSG)
All of these players have had breakout seasons, so their inclusion isn’t particularly a surprise. In fact, it would be a shocker if they didn’t get a spot.
Though Mathys Tel struggled to break into Bayern Munich’s starting lineup this season, the limited minutes in the past were enough to have the football world buzzing about his potential. We should see more of him in the future as Tel joined the struggling North London side in the deadline hours.
Amad Diallo has continued to shine despite Manchester United’s languishing performances — a form all too familiar to Old Trafford in these past years. Barca’s Pau Cubarsí is another La Masia star in a very young squad. He is among the very best young players in the world and has been a consistent starter for Hansi Flick’s side.
Both Bradley Barcola and Neves have been instrumental to PSG, who continue having their usual so-so season — dominant in Ligue 1, but unexciting in European competition.
Future Stars Icons
Luís Figo
Samuel Eto'o
Rio Ferdinand
While the young lads above might need an introduction, these three Icons do not. Considered some of the all-time greats for their positions, they’ll be available in EA FC 25 through packs or SBC challenges.
Predictions For EA FC 25 Future Stars Team 2 Players
EA already confirmed the rising Matildas starlet, Mary Fowler, earlier today. With half of the squad practically confirmed, here’s what we think the full squad for the EA FC Future Stars promo could look like.
Mary Fowler (ST – Manchester City Women)
Murillo (CB – Nottingham Forest)
Vicky Lopez (CM — Barcelona Femení)
Kobbie Mainoo (CDM — Manchester United)
Naomi Layzell (CB – Manchester City Women)
Archie Gray (CDM – Tottenham Hotspur)
Samu Omorodion (ST – Porto)
Conor Bradley (LB – Liverpool)
Giorgio Scalvini (CB – Atlanta)
Mathys Tel (ST – Tottenham Hotspur)
Bradley Barcola (LW – PSG)
Amad Diallo (RW – Manchester United)
Pau Cubarsí (CB – FC Barcelona)
Aleksandar Pavlović (CDM – Bayern Munich)
João Neves (CM – PSG)
All these talents have already made their names known to world football. And even if they are not included this time, they’ll still have a shot for next year’s Future Stars because of how young they are. So, don’t come back to this article until after the squad is revealed to remind us how horribly wrong our predictions were.
As for Icons, they’re so random, we don’t have the faintest idea of who EA will pick. The three we mentioned above are certain as EA FC leaks have proven to be pretty reliable in recent times.
Will Future Stars Team 1 Player Leave After Team 2 In EA FC 25?
Team 1 players will no longer be available in the packs after Team 2 arrives in the EA FC 25 Future Stars promo. This means we’re in the eleventh hour if you wish to pack Lamine Yamal, Endrick, and/or other players.
Of course, they will be available in the Transfer Market, but will be very expensive purchases — we’re talking in the millions for the popular ones! While the Team 1 promo will end, certain SBCs and Evolutions like Future Star Academy will remain until the mentioned in-game timer expires.
When Will Future Stars 2 Promo End in EA FC 25?
The Future Stars promo in EA FC 25 is expected to end on February 14, 2025. Similar to Team 1, you’ll have one week to pack Team 2 cards.
February 14 is also when the next promo will likely begin, which will be either Road to the Final or the brand-new Grassroot Greats (be on the lookout for a write-up on that one). Both of them have already been confirmed by EA, but the dates and finer details are yet to be made official.
That’s about everything you need to know about the Future Stars Team 2 promo in EA FC 25. Even if you do not pack the rising star or starlet you’re looking for, do not miss out on the FS Academy — it gives you a very capable card that you can pick playstyles for with Icon chem!
